Aviation oxygen is what is used in the aviation industry and when installed into an aircraft has to follow rigorous FAA regulations. This is then used to provide pure oxygen for emergency situations of low oxygen levels with elevation. Aviation oxygen is stored in a gas state and compressed into canisters and tanks that are often lighter than those found in hospitals to be more portable when needed.

Neither medical or aviation grade oxygen has any other elements mixed in with them and are strictly pure oxygen. What really makes up the difference between medical and aviation oxygen?
